'Rob & Rory Reads' is managed by the wife-and-husband team of Rory J. Bolivar and Robespierre L. Bolivar. They are freelance writers, whose book reviews and essays featured on this site have been published by major Philippine news websites. Their goal is to share their love of books and encourage more people to read.

 

Rory is a registered microbiologist with years of experience in industry, research and teaching. She graduated from the University of the Philippines and studied French language and culture at the University of British Columbia. Rob is a career diplomat, former Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, and recipient of the Gawad Mabini, one of the highest Presidential Awards bestowed upon Filipino diplomats.

They have been blessed with the opportunity to live in the Philippines, the United States, Russia, Canada, Belgium and Japan.
